New Hanover County School’s philosophy is to award school business to vendors who help us meet our objective of providing schools and administrators with quality supplies, materials and services on delivery and completion schedules as requested at the lowest net cost.
All new prospective vendors should submit basic information about their company and sales policies. The minimum information required for new vendors is as follows: name and address of company headquarters, sales office, and shipping location, description of facilities and equipment, description of products and services offered, names and titles of company executives and name of representative assigned for this area, and current customer references with names, addresses and phone numbers. A vendor application may be obtained by contacting Shauna Allen at 910-254-4417 or at swallen@nhcs.net .
New Hanover County Schools obtains competition for purchases totaling $5000 or more with net thirty payment terms. Business will be awarded to the most competitive bidder without regard to race, religion, or sex.
